It can get out of this state only by the grace of Perumal. Parankusanayaki undergoes this transition by the grace of Perumal, and that too by His magic. When Parankusanayaki closes her eyes, Perumal appears in her thoughts in Garuda vahanam. No sooner did she open her eyes, she cannot see Perumal in front of her. Her heart cannot stop with this anubhavam, and hence it chases Perumal until it finds Him in a beautiful Divya Desam.. When Parankusanayaki returns to her home town, all her friends and mother community mock at her and ask her about the person who is responsible for her current state. Nayaki immediately replies by looking at her open hands as below: kootachchen REnini en_ko dukkEn? kOlvaLai neNYchath thotakka mellaam, paadaR Roziya izandhu vaigal palvaLai yaarmun paricha zindhEn,maadak kotimathiL then_ku Landhai vaNkuta paalnNinRa maayak kooththan, aadal paRavai uyarththa velpOr aazi valavinai yaathariththE (TVM 8.2.4) I saw Him come on a bird. When I tried to get near Him, He immediately fled from the scene. I lost all of mine as lover to Him. I don’t have anything else to lose to Him. My thoughts were much faster than Him. Hence, I chased Him to finally reach the place where He settled. Oh! What a lovely place full of big houses and wide streets. sAdhararai parisazhikkum seshtitha Accharyam kulathaE kodividum (From Acharya Hrudayam) I see lots of flags flying on the top of these grand buildings. I think these flags reflect the success of Him over the nayakis like me who have lost their hearts to Him. Did He really win over the hearts in a straight forward fashion? No! If yes, then He cannot be called as Mayakoothan. He is the one who holds the chakra in his right hand. Completely pleased by Parankusanayaki, Perumal started the journey from Thirukulandhai (known as Perungulamthese days ). Before He reached Thrukkurugoor, He saw a beautiful place full of greeneries where He wanted to rest for sometime. What is this beautiful place full of greeneries? Where all did He stop over before reaching Thirukkurugoor? We will continue this anubhavam as Azhwar’s thoughts take us along.... P.S. adiyen focuses only on Azhwar's anubhavams in this series. adiyen would like to request all the readers to visit http://home.att.net/~srivai/nt.htm for sthala puranams, photos and other details on these Divya Desams. adiyen, ramanan Talk is cheap.
