THE CURSE AND THE CURE

 

Sri ANDAL appeals to Emperuman to remove her curse. What is the curse doomed on Her?

Did any sage cursed her? What is the cure?

 

It is said that curse, once spelt out cannot be withdrawn.

What is the curse on ANDAL pirATTi. Separation from the Lord. Why it is termed as curse? As the turbulence is experience and the pain undergone.

What is the cure?

 

Here are some of the cures.

The durvAsa sAbham was cured with pirATTi's kadAksham. Gowthama munivar's curse was cured with the speck of dust of perumAL's thiruvadi.

The brahma sAbham on ShivA was removed from the sweat of EmperumAn from His chest. The curse of dhakshan was cured by submerging in the pond.

 

For ANDAL/GopikAs all of these are required.

dhurvAsAvinudaiya sAbham marbil irukkiRavaLudaiya kadAkshathAlEa pOgalam, DurvAsa's curse was removed by pirATTis' Grace-kadAksham.

Gowthama sAbham kAlil podiyAlEA pOgalam

The Curse of Gowthaman got removed by the poweder of EmperumAn's divine feet.

dhaksha sAbam oru thadAgathil muzhukittup pOgalAm

DakshA's curse withered off on submerging in water.
