Dear Swamy Desika BhakthAs :

 

Today I recieved in the mail the above centennial monograph

that has some beautiful images of (1)SrI HemAnhjavalli SamEtha

SrI DevanAthan (2) Lord HayagrIva on Oushada Giri and (3)Yoga

HayagrIvar presented to Swamy Desikan by Garuda BhagavAn

(4)Swamy Desikan adorning RathnAngi during His Thiru avathAra dinam,

(5)Chakravarthy Thiruman with SitA PirAtti and LakshmaNa Swamy and

finally Swamy Desikan in His ThiruppAvai SaaRRumuRai Sevai

which is conducted every month during SraVaNam at ThiruvahIndhrapuram.

 

Mention is made in two short essays on the ongoing efforts to

present Uthsavar DevanAtha PerumAL with His own RathnAngi

this year.

 

In addition to these most beautiful images of the Lord and our

AchAryan with exquisite rose and jasmine garlands and alankArams

for which the ThiruvahIndhrapuram Bhattars are famous, there are

a series of excellent articles on the Vaibhavam of Swamy Desikan .

 

adiyEn plans to release them in their English version in

SaraNAgathy journal to add to the literature on Swamy Desikan .

Many of them are written in Tamil by great SrI VaishNavite Scholars

and by Swamy DesikA's gifted son & disciple , SrI KumAra VaradAchAr

from SrI Nrusimha PriyA. By the way, the digitization project

to archive the the old issues of SrI Nrusimha PriyA from

the starting year of 1942 to current issues is making

steady progress. They will be released as number of Text

CD ROMs with subject index and search capabilities.
