Guest guest
Respected Swamin: Does it really matter? Our dearest Mahan with whom we are all are intimately familiar with, and who is our guiding spirit cannot be misrepresented. Like in all matters, there will be a few who will always do the opposite, continue to commit mistakes, exhibit ignorance, and cause misunderstandings, sow seeds of doubt, indulge in false propaganda and so on. What we must constantly remember IMMEDIATELY on encountering such false information and , false knowledge is the HOLY TIRUVADI and HE will take care. Further, we cannot question or doubt ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING our Mahan has done/wriitten/talked about. Even assuming the most impossible news that indeed HH did write about demi gods, it must be true/correct and appropriate since He can never be wrong. Everything he writes, does and speaks is with a clear purpose is divine. The writer has often come across such instances and the simpliest expedient is :Whenever you hear any such thing consider yourself as fortunate since you are hearing the Mahan's name. Ignore the association with other objects and associated references. Just savour the fact that you have been blessed to hear His name. Dwell on the sweetness and goodwill inside you which can be experienced as soon as you consider this bounty. Avoid arguments and justification with such persons with whom you come in contact. Do not try to protect the 'sampradaya' for the simple reason that the 'sampradaya' itself has emanated from such Mahan souls that it is not possible to eradicate or put it down. The sheer greatness of the Mahan itself will sustain the 'sampradaya'. Just rejoice in being associated with the Tiruvadi and the Mahan's eternal overseeing of all of us. Its all a matter of shift of focus. If you constantly dwell on the Mahan's name, then nothing will matter. PM Please respond to desikasampradaya Dear all, A friend passed on this information about a review of a book on Sai Baba. This presumably was written by one V.N. Vedanta Desikan. I dont think that the Swamin we know well in our sampradAyam would stoop to such a level to write a review on demigods. However, it seems some people are identifying with this mahan and misrepresenting his position. Could somebody clarify?
