Second verse the dharmic paths (hitham) were described. In third verse now, the ultimate goal [Parama purushaarttham] of enjoying the Lord Sriya: Pathi Sriman Narayanan who is ubhaya vibhUthi nAthan (having both this world and that world of Paramapadham) as His sareeram… aindhumaindhu maindhumaagi yallavaRRu Laayumaay, aindhumoonRu monRumaagi ninRavaadhi thEvanE, aindhumaindhu maindhumaagi yandharaththa Naindhun^inRu, aindhumaindhu maayan^innai yaavar_kaaNa vallarE? (3) Who is qualified and is capable of seeing You in the below mentioned ways! You are the Only One who is the ubhayavibhUthi nAthan; The Only one who is of the five forms Para, vyUha, vibhava, archai and haardha roopa, subhAsraya, dhivya mangaLa vigraha visishtan; [subha- that which can destroy all sins; Asraya- easily comprehensible or easily accessible by the mind]; who is never ever separated from Sri MahalakshmI, who always resides in Your divine Chest; who shows Himself with PiraaTTi in Paramamadham (antharatthu – aNaindhu ninRu); who is the indweller [antharyaami] of the five material elements [the pancha bhUthas namely, Earth, water, fire, air and ether (AkAsA)]; who is the five jnAna indhiryas and five karma indriyas [We experience sound, touch, form, taste and smell through out indriyas (senses) i.e. ear, skin, eye, mouth and nose. These are called jnAna indriyas; and we act through the five senses or indriyas of action that are called karma indriyas which are organs of speech, hand, leg, organ of excretion, and of reproduction, making up total of ten indriyas]; who is also antharyaami in other objects (allavaRRuLaayumaay- namely, the changes mahath- ahankaaram- manas- ten prANAs- such physical changes- the evolution of Cosmic matter –[prakriti pariNAmangaL]); who is the antharyaami in pancha thanmaathraas [sabdha, sparsa, roopa, rasa, gandha] [tanmaathrAs- these are sound (sabda), touch (sparsa), form or sight (roopa), taste (rasa) and smell (gandha). These subtle elements are intermediate stages between two gross (or basic elements- Bhuthas) like earth, water etc]; who is the Sattva, RajO, thamas guNAs; who is the mUla prakrithi [the matter- abode of triguNAs- all materials objects that can be perceived by our midns and senses are the various manifestations of matter – PRAKRITI- and further to be learnt from saasthras]; who is Akila Heya PratyanIka: ananta KalyaNa GuNa visishta: Purushoththama: [one who never ever touched by imperfections and is possessed with infinite most auspicious attributes;] who is the antharyaami of the five (baddha, muktha, nithya jeevaathmAs, kaalam and dharma bhUtha jnAnam); who is the antharyaami of the other world’s (parampadham’s] aprAkrutha pancha shakthi, pancha jnAna indriya, pancha karma indriya; who is the enjoyment; who is the bhOgasthAnam, bhOgOpakaraNam, the nithyar, the mukthar and sages in Parampadham (nithyar- one who does service; sages- one who just experiences joy); Who can understand You who is the antharyammi of all the above and to enjoy Yourself at Parampadham as ubhayavibhUthi nAThan! AzhwAr in first PAsuram said, who can think of You (yaar ninaikka vallar?) except for sassthras from which they can perceive You as the SarIrI of all and everyone and everything. In the world, there are numerous jnAnams (knowledges) and it is difficult to get the correct, true jnAnam – AzhwAr explained listing down all combinations of jnAnam in second verse. Only due to His grace, being blessed by the Lord’s unbounded grace and dayA, one should be blessed with a sadAchAryan and learn the sampradAyam and except for that, it is extremely difficult to get and perceive/ enjoy Him in his entirety as the One who is always with Sri and who is ubhaya vibhUthi nAthan- says in third verse. sa mahAthmA sudhurlabah: - He Himself says... Please forgive for any errors and omissions; as it is only due to my lack of understanding. anything good, the credit goes to rich and wonderful commentary of Sri UttmUr Swamy..
