The Planned Pratishtai Of SrI SanthAna GopAla Vigraham at Pomona , NY SrI RanganAtha Temple

Dear SrI KrishNa BhakthAs :

 

It is my pleasure to let you know that there

are plans to consecrate and worship a new

vigraham of Lord SanthAna GopAlan resting on

AadhisEshan at the Krishnan sannidhi of

SrI RanganAthA Temple at Pomona , N.Y .

A special vigraham is being commissioned

in KumbakONam and it will be hand carried here

at the end of the month after consecration by

hastha spardam of SrImath Azhagiya Singar of

SrI AhObila Matam at SElayUr .

 

SanthAna GopAlan is worshipped for SanthAna

prApthi by the dampathis , who are not yet blessed

to have children. This mode of worship is less

ardous than Puthra KaamEshi Yaagam , which is done

at Oppiliappan KOil during SeI Raama Navami uthsavams .

 

There is a SanthAna GopAla Manthram and SthOthram ,

which is traditionally used for seeking the Lord's blessings

for SANTHAANA PRAAPTHI .The Manthram has a Rishi,

Chandas and DEvathA as in the case of the other manthrAs.

There are 101 slOkams in the sthothram dedicated to SrI SanthAna GopAlan .

SanthAna GopAla worship . Series of his postings on

The SanthAna GopAla homam and AarAdhanam

will be conducted for interested couples starting from

The Meaning of the DhyAna SlOkam

BHagavAn KrishNan is resplendent as PaarTasArathy

and Achyuthan .He is an ocean of DayA (KaruNai) .

He comes out of the waters with the child of His AchAryan ,

which had drowned earlier. He has arrived here from

SrI Vaikuntam , His Supreme abode. He is sitting in

a chariot. He has returned to His Vaidhika Guru his

(AchAryan's ) child. Oh Bhagavan ! I meditate on You

always for the boon of Puthra PrApthi !
