Dearest Srivaishnavas,

AzhwAr assures the mind that SarvEshwaran now would

save us as we are His property that belongs to Him and

we have placed the burden of the protection of ours to

Him already; Hence do not be under the wrong

impression that hereafter we need not praise Him and

bow down to Him.. Please continue to do so as it is

Swayam prajOjanam.

The 115th paasuram (Maanasa SambhOdhanam) is a moving

one: Oh my poor mind worried about lack of upAyam to

attain Moksha Siddhi! The blemishless Lord

(MutthanAr), who is the granter of the boon of Moksham

has made sure that the incongruous births [that have

go no connection to each other] full of suffering will

not happen any more and has decided to accept us as

His servants. For that purpose, He has entered into us

as the Father instructing us on the upAyam; as the

compassionate Mother, who grows that Jn~Anam and as

the AchAryan who delivers us at the feet of the Dhivya

Dampathis. From here on , Oh My mind ! where is the

reason for your worries about enjoying Saayujyam ? why

are you caught and have fallen into this ocean of

sorrows?

The Lord is our Swami; It is true that He is ever

ready to protect us and save us and grant us

salvation. He is always thinking of us like the

Father, Mother and Acharya who too always think of

their children (and sishyas). The Iswara is the Sheshi

of all (Mater of all) and we are the sEshans; We are

just like the infants and He is the Mother; He is

entitled to protect us like the Mother; Doe it befit

our essential nature to cry bitterly and worry about

our sorrows? We have placed our burden at His Feet.

He is the anthryaami in Mother, Father and Acharya and

the mother teaches values to children in infant stage;

Father teaches the Vedas, sthOthras, perform

brahmOpadEsam etc.. The Acharyan performs pancha

samskaaram, BharanyAsam for the disciple; Thus, the

Lord being the indweller in them, acts through them to

save us- His children. Thus He is our mAthA, PithA and

Guru… When such is the case? Why are you trapped in

this samsaaric ocean? Because You had not learnt and

performed the requisite means (upAyam). He is ever

ready to save us and take us to His Abode; BUT He

expects us to do little minor effort of placing

ourselves at His Feet (as an excuse) so that He is not

blamed for partiality. So, if it is taken like that he

would save everyone on his own without any of our

effort as He is Parama kaaruNikO Bhagawaan, then it

results in the eventuality of all people being

eternally liberated. If it is stated that the Lord can

do on account of His swatanthrya, then the Lord will

be subjected to the defects of partiality and cruelty.

So, He is thus the performer of Divine Justice based

on our karma and Bestower of Divine Grace (for those

who perform Saranagati).

Thus all that He expects is vaNangi, vaazhtthudhal-

Surrender and praise Him (Utter Dwayam). Thus there is

something one needs to do; and since we did not do, we

are here, oh mind! Suffering in samsaaric affliction.

Thus atthAnAy- He has entered into us as the Father

(gariyAn Brahmadha: PithA) instructing us on the

upAyam; Annaiyaay- as the compassionate Mother, who

grows that Jn~Anam and as the AchAryan who delivers us

at the feet of the Dhivya Dampathis

Alum empiraanumaay- He wills for eternal kaimkaryam of

ours at His Feet and enables us to do the upAyam

[means] thereby;

etthinAl idar kidatthi?- why are you now worried if we

will get mOksham? Maa sucha: (Not to worry- AzhwAr

says to the mind]

mutthanaar- Unaffected by paapams; untouched by

paapams; He is the Lord who is not touched by

imperfections;- akilahEyaprathyaneekan.

He is Mukundhan- meaning: He is Above and Beyond even

Nithyasooris. Those who go to Him (pray to Him) also

get mOksham granted by Him;
