Dearest Srivaishnavas,

Since the Lord is focussed on PiraaTTi’s mukhOllAsam

(beaming happy face) the above mentioned Nithyasuris

services for the pleasure of the Lord applies to Both

Dhivya Dampathi… and Alavandhaar goes on to emphasize

the same by dwelling again on the love of the Lord on

his divine Consort in the next verse. When he mentions

praharshayishyaami in this verse, it can also be

inferred from mahisheem praharshayantham

praharshayishyaami… and hence this can be derived-

says Sri Uttamur Swamy

apoorva naanaarasabhaava nirbhara

prabaddhayaa mugdha vidhagdha leelayaa

kshaNAnuvath kshipthapararaadhi kaalayaa

praharshayantham mahisheem mahaabhujam [44]

the leelaas, skilful sports; the happy mindset during

such various playful sports- which appear as if they

are played new and have never been enjoyed before; -

and these plays consist of different sentiments and

emotions {in the universe) and which lets the time

measured as yugas (eons) and yugas [and the life time

of even Chathur mukha brahmA] as fraction of a

second…- with all such playful sports, You, the Lord

with long arms, enchant, exhilarate Your beloved

divine Consort Sri Mahalakshmi – who is equal and

matching to You in all aspects and all Aishwaryam,

guNAs.

The leelAs of wife is for the pleasure of the husband

is that everyone knows; Similarly, the Lord’s leelAs

is also for the pleasure of Periya PiraaTTi and to

give her great happiness. Because He loves her so

much, and out of concern, respect, He does not give

her any work; He does all sports and makes her happy.

Every play and act of His, He puts in the greatest

extent of His shakthi, Chathurya, and contributes to

Her level of expectations to the fullest extent.

Even thoigh the valour, love, srungAra anubhavam have

been since time immemorial for the dhivya dampathi,

every time, the leelA is played, it appears to

PiraaTTi as if it is played for the first time and

that is the calibre of the Lord.. and that is to give

her greatest happiness every time it is played; and

never makes it boredom. And She always looks forward

to the same. Even Sage Viswamithra had spent few

thousand years with women and then realised that time

has been spent with women.. For our Lord, with such

playful deeds, even the longest time of Chathurmukha

brahmA’s time appears as a fraction of a second and

every time it appears new to Them. Thus, They are

immersed in playful sports for the sake of human kind

and to uplift them from samsaaric affliction. She

takes pity on us and lets the Lord create again and

again from the dissolution stage to evolution.

Thus shrusti, sthithi, samhAram are all Their playful

deeds also. Thus taking few avathArams among human

beings, enact suffering, show strengths against

asurAs; perform grand deeds and thus enabling few

jeevathmas get Parathva jnAnam and their being Blessed

by Him and their subsequent performance of bhakti,

Saranagathi- and attainment of mOksham makes the

PiraaTTi happy and He shows His strength of being

Supreme Lord along with compassion with His bhuja

balam (shoulder strengths) and the excited and happy

PiraaTTi hugs His strong shoulders;

Alavandhaar thus enjoys the Supreme Lord along with

PiraaTTi.

Alavandhaar ThiruvaDigaLE SaraNam

Regards

Namo Narayana
