list of 108 dhivya dEsams sung by the 12 AzhwArs.

Dear Sadagopan mama,

 

You might remember that adiyen had earlier complied an excel spreadsheet containing details of divyadesams with mangalasasanam details. I am in the process of expanding the spreadsheet. It would have a paasuram for each divyadesam (paasuram number) such that one can take an aanmiga trip to divyadesams through minimum number of paasurams. I will forward a copy of the file tomorrow for your review. Kindly forward the same to the benefit of our members if it is OK or let adiyen know in case there are any errors. I will rectify them.

 

It comes to 74 paasurams. The methodology adopted is if a divyadesam is covered by more than 1 paasuram, the paasuram that covers more divyadesams is selected. If there is a tie, the paasuram that was arranged first by Naadhamunigal swami is selected. Adiyen took this project because there might be many people who want to do a sevai of all 4000, but cannot due to time constraints. For the benefit of those people, the strategy of 'all 108 in minimum number possible paasurams' is adopted. This will sure help those who want to pray all 108 divyadesa Perumals.
