Guest guest Posted June 5, 2005 Report Share Posted June 5, 2005 dasasya anantha pranama, last week i was in Mumbai and had an opportunity to stay in DESIKA SAMPRADAYA SABHA at Matunga. the sabha is contributing its might for the propagation and spreading of our sampradaya. the sabha has brought two publications which i feel would be of immense help to each one of us. the first one is " INTRODUCTION TO TAITTIRIYA UPANISHAD " by Prof.K.S.Narayanacharya, which is a summary of the UPANISHAD and would be helpful for any beginner and those who are at home with English language. the second one is " PRACHEENACHARA SANGRAHAM " by Sri.U.Ve.Navalpakkam Ayya Swami, inclusive of both POORVA and UTTARA Bhaga which gives a detail of various anushtanams to be followed on account of various ASHUOCHAs. the book is a guide on the matter as now days there are very few who are able to explain the anushtanams to be followed on account of ASHUOCHAs. these books can be had from the SABHA office at mumbai. the sabha may also be visited at www.desikasabha.org dasan, devarajan.
