He was a sishya to Sri Vazhuttur Swami and took sanyas at the age of 36 and was known as Chinna Vedantaramanuja Mahadesikan. Spent his last years at Tiruvaheendirapuram and attained the eternal bliss at the lotus feet of Sri Devanathan. Sri Kethandapatti Swami and Kozhiyalam Swami were some of his well known disciples. Sri Tiruvaheendirapuram Swami (aka) Sri Srinivasaramanuja Mahadesikan (1808 to 1894) He was born in the Chetlur vamsam and took sanyas at the hands of Sri Kethandapatti Swami. Spent most of his life in Tiruvaheendirapuram and attained the eternal bliss at the lotus feet of Sri Devanathan. Some of his well known disciples were - Garudapuram Swami, Chetlur Narasimhachariar, Navaneetham Krishnamachariar and Aadoor Tirumalai Ecchampadi Desikachariar. The Brindavanams of both these Swamis exist in Tiruvaheendirapuram but are in dilapidated condition. Hence a group of Sishyas of these Swamis' lineage has taken up the task of renovating the Brindavanams and celebrate their Tirunakshatrams at the Brindavanams. It is my fervent appeal to all the Sri Vaishnava philanthropists to donate their mite in cash and kind and help in this noble cause. A detailed report about this has appeared in June 2005 issue of HAYAGREEVA KRIPA journal. Those who are desirous of contributing may please send in their cheques/DDs in the name of " SRI KETHANDAPATTI SWAMI KAIKARYA COMMITTEE " and send them to Sripadam P.Babu, Car Street, Tiruvaheendirapuram - 607 401 Tamil Nadu Tel No: 04142-287 171 With humble pranams V.Srinivasan
