I will attempt to provide an input on AzhwArs follows next on

SampradhAyic dates for AzhwArs .They span from DhvApara Yugam to

the present Kali Yugam . With the dates of Mudhal AzhwArs in

DhvApara Yugam , the dates of MahA Bhaaratham war , RaamAyaNam

gets pushed far back into antiquity .

 

There are a variety of sources on Guru Parampara :

 

(1) AzhwAr's own references in their dhivya Prabhandham

about the Kings ( ThriunaRayUr , ParamEswara ViNNagara PaasurangaL),

Para Mathams . PeriyAzhwAr refers to KonedumARan , the PaanDya King

in Periya Thirumozhi Paasuramin PeriyAzhwAr Thirumozhi : 4.2.7.

Refers to some Pallava Kings in his Thirumozhi . Thirumangai refers to

PallavA king in his ParamEswara ViNNagara Paasurams (1128-1137)

and about Sempian KochenkkOtcchOzhan in his ThiruNaRayUr Paasurams

( 1498-1507) .

 

2) Dhivya Soori Cahritham : Author , Garuda Vaahaana PanDithar in Sanskrit .

He lived in Acharya RaamAnujA's time and wrote in Sanskrit .

appearances of Azhwars. The dates establish the fact that

visishTAdvaitha sidhAnta is not an invention of 'munitrayam', but an

eternal truth which was followed by mahAtmAs of all ages. It also

explains the fact that SrI bhAshya is not just a logical grammatical

treatise, but also a sidhAnta which was coming in a disciplic

lineage from time immemorial.

I just meant that vEda-artha is SrI visishTa-advaita sarIra-sarIri

sidhAnta alone, even before the appearance of rAmAnuja, and followed

by mahAtmans of all ages. This is evident from the dates provided by

SrI sadagOpan ji.
