adiyEn is delighted to let you know about Yesterday's

happenings at SrivilliputthUr ANDAL RaajadhAni on

the Third day of Our ThAyAr's Vaarshika Uthsavam .

 

Some of you have made it possible to offer our Special

homage to ANDAL on this Sesha Vaahanam day of

the Uthsavam . adiyEn's sincere Thanks to all who

participated to raise the funds for this special Kaimkaryam

at SrivilliputthUr .

 

A beautiful Mutthu KONDai was presented to ThAyAr

during the afternoon during Her darbhAr by Srimathi

Padma Veeraraghavn of the GodhA PriyA Kaimakarya

SabhA on behalf of all of us from near and far .

 

A specially cherographed Bharatha Naatyam based

on selected Paasurams of Godhai's NaacchiyAr

Thirumozhi was presented next in front of ANDAL

inside the Temple . adiyEn was briefed that there were

2,000 plus devotees of ANDAL who enjoyed this new

Dance Drama .

 

adiyEn's sister , VidvAmsini Srimathy Padma VeerarAghavan

had the bhAgyam of cherographing this dance drama and training

all the women dancers at her home in Chennai . This event took two

hours to perform at the sadhas presided over by the dear consort of

Sri RangamannAr at Her father's house (NaacchiyAr ThirumALikai) .

 

adiyEn's sister has been commanded now by ANDAL thru

Archaka ParichAraka Mukham to tune the whole dhivya

Prabhandham of NaacchiyAr Thirumozhi before the ThiruppAvai Uthsavam in Marghazhi Month .

 

Later in the evening of Aug 3 , around 11 PM , Andal ascended the Sesha

Vaahanam for Veehti PuRappADu . Aadi Poora Uthsavam is continuing and will conclude with the RaTothsavam on August 8.

 

It will be a very busy day on Aug 8 being the Aadi Pooram avathAra Dinam of our Divine Mother at the Tulasi Vanam of PeriyAzhwAr.

 

On this day , Sri GodhA PriyA Kaimkarya Committee will

present the specially constructed Mutthangi for ANDAL

before She ascends the ThEr for the travel around the Raaja Veedhis

of Her dhivya dEsam . The talented singers of the GodhA PriyA

Kaimkarya Committee will also sing Swamy Desikan's

GodhA Sthuthi set in 29 Raagams in front of ANDAL .

 

adiyEn seeks the benedictions of all BhagavathAs and

asmath AchAryan for the successful completion of

the rest of the Kaimkaryam for ANDAL at Her avathAra

Sthalam on August 8 .

P.S : Due to the time pressures of the skilled craftsmen

who construct the Mutthangi at Chennai , we have to

postpone the time of samarpaNam of the other two Mutthangis

for Sri RangamannAr and PeriyAzhwAr until October 5 , 2005 .

 

adiyEn hopes to get these two related Kaimkaryams completed

before Marghazhi Mrughaseersham (Oct 5) , when adiyEn hopes

to be visiting India for the SathamAna Uthsavam celebrations of

adiyEn's Father at Oppiliappan Koil and SrivilliputthUr .
