kalayaami kalidhvamsam kavim lOkadhivaakaram

yaSya kObi: prakaaSaabir aavidhyam niHatham thama:

I meditate on the Poet, who is like the Sun for the

whole world, to destroy the darkness of ignorance

(a~jnAnam) with his word and who destroys the Kali

dhOsham.

The Lord is The Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Space (five

elements of Nature)- has thousand Divine Names- is NOT

bounded by KarmAs; - Such Greatest Lord- Emperumaan is

growing here at ThiruvEmkatam, the top of which is

hugged by clouds, the snowy droplets falling from the

sky, where the clouds land up and take rest on top of

this mountain, where

fertile gardens surround the lovely ThiruvEmkatam. Oh

mind! Reach there.

He is the indweller of the five elements and directs

them; He manifests in them, controls them.

Taittriya Upanshad says: tadh shrushtvaa; tadhanu

pravishyaa; tadhEvaanu praavishath;

The MahA NaarAyaNa Upanishad manthram salutes

appropriately this " Lord (the manifold sustainer )

this way in the same spirit:

yasmAth JaathA na parA naiva kimcha-

naasa ya aavivEsa bhuvanAni visvA

prajApathi: prajayaa samvidhAna-

sthrINi jyOthigumshi sachathE sa shOdasI

(meaning): The beings born from PrajApathi (Lord

Srinivasan) are not separate from Him . He creates all

beings, provides them with the ten senses , the five

elements constituting their bodies and the three

luminous worlds (fire, Sun and Moon ) in which they

dwell in and next enters into them as their indwelling

supporter and commander(antharyAmi).Before their

creation , nothing whatsoever existed other than Him.

He created them , gave them names and forms, entered

into them and finally became their ultimate

destination .Befitting His naamam as " ShOdasi " or the

one with 16 Kalais (PrANaa, SraddhA, five elements,

indriyA, mind, food, veerya, tapas, mantrA, yaj~nA,

the worlds and the names), He identifies with all the

creatures of the Universes.

This Lord, who has no equal or superior (samAdhika

daridhran) is the One, who is described as " idham

sarvam poorNam " (all of this prapancham is

encompassed/filled by Him).

Such Omnipotent Lord Paramapadha nAthan is here at

ThiruvEntakam. Oh Mind Reach there-says AzhwAr.

Thirumangai AzhwAr ThiruvaDigaLe SaraNam

Regards

Namo Narayana
