During the Marghazhi Month , There are number of Uthsavams

for Soodikkoduttha NaacchiyAr at Srivilliputthur .

 

One of the most looked forward to Uthsavm day there is

"KoodArai Vellum Seer Govindha" Paasura SaaRRumurai

dina Uthsavam .

 

On that day , after Unjal and SaaRRumurai , Akkaara Vadisil

is presented to ANDAL and RangamannAr and distributed to

all devotees as PrasAdham .

 

This year " KoodArai Vellum Seer GovindhA " SaaRRumurai is

on January 11, 2006 . That is the 27th day of Marghazhi to celebrate

the 27th Paasuram of ThiruppAvai .

 

January 11 is also MahA PradhOsha Dinam dear to Sri Lakshmi Narasimhan .

 

Sri Ahobila Matam at SelayUr is having Koodarai Vellum

Seer Govindha SaaRRumurRai on January 11 ,2006 .

 

Srimath Azhagiya Singar will be presenting to

Sri Lakshmi Narasimhan and Vanamaali ( Dolai KaNNan)

100 vessels ( tadaa) Akkaara Vadisil in special Silver

vattils with the names of the sponsors of the Kaimkaryam

engraved on the individual Vattils .

 

These Silver Vattils will be presented with Akkaravadisil

to the sponsors and the Vattils on January 11 and can be

used in Nithya AarAdhanams . These vattils that contained

AkkAravadisil will bless Kannikais and KumArans with VivAham ,

Success in Educational endeavours and other soubhAgyams .

 

The sponsorship for each of the Vattils is $45 or Rs.2,000 .

 

The Vattil creation with customized engraving costs Rs.1,800

htis year and the remaining 200 Rs will be linked to

the ongoing Kaimkaryams at the dhivya dEsam of

PuLLambhUthangudi .

 

One or more Vattils can be sponsored and the sponsors

or designated representatives can recieve the consecreated

Vattils in person at SelayUr Sri Matam on Jan 11, 2006
