Pictures of Mahamandap

Dear Swamin, Pl see attachment.THere are two pictures. The first one is the view from front side of the temple You can see small 4 pillar mandap where Swami Desikan will be seated during Mangalasasanam in Purattasi sravanam facing the garbhagruha of Sri Hayagreeva(facing Sri Hayagreeva).You can sharply see the garbhagruha through this small 4 pillar mandap At the top of mahamandap , Thiruman ,Sangu,Chakra will be fixed by sudhai work. On either side of the top of mandap Garuda will be fixed, that also sudhai work.Cement (concrete) bends will be fixed on three sides of mandap. A Mahanubhavan has kind enough to contribute to all these kainkaryams Iron-rods will be fixed inbetween the pillars (outside) above four feet.Upto 4 feet , there will be brick work.The second one --a view from garbhagruha.From Sri Hayagreevan sannithi you can see outer view of Mahamandap.Here also small 4 pillar mandap (white pillars) can be seen Fixing of ironrods in between the pillars(outside) and plastering has commenced.Flooring will be taken up afterwards,soon after completing plasteringAll the works will be completed before 20th May-06DasanSrikainkaryaSoundararajan
