BhakthAmrutham viswa janAnumodhanam sarvArthatham Sri Satakopa Vaangmayam sahasra SaakOpanishadh samAgamam namAmyaham Draavida Vedha Saagaram Meaning ): adiyEn salutes the ocean of Tamizh Vedam , which is of the form of Sri SaThakOpan's vaak (speech/aruLiccheyalkaL). These are linked to the thousand Upanishads and includes in them all the deep meanings (Taathparyams)of Tatthva-Hitha-PurushArthams and artha Panchakam. They are nectar to the minds of the devotees of Sriman NaarAyaNan and they enjoy it with relish as aparyAthAmrutham [insatiable amirtham]. Today’s ThiruvEnkatam verse is: NammAzhwAr’s Thiruvaaymozhi 3.5.8 vaarpunal anthaN Naruvi vadathiru vEngadath thenthai, pErpala sollip pithaRRip pittharen REpiRar kooRa, Urpala pukkum pukaathum ulOkar sirikka_nin Raadi, aarvam perukik kunippaar amarar thozappadu vaarE. 3.5.8 The waterfalls, the Cool, breee, the Mountains etc.. are all found at ThiruvEnkadam where My Lord, my dearest father SrinivAsan [alarmEl mangai uRai maarbhan] is gracefully standing. BhAgawathALs, utter His name so loudly that others even doubt them as " the mad man " . - Such BhAgawathAs are greatly devoted to my Lord and wander on pilgrimage tour from temple to temple (making themselves as the laughing stock by others)- singing and dancing affectionately and lovingly about the Glories of their beloved Lord- Such BhAgawathAs are admired and worshipped even by dEvAs. [but alas! They are being laughed at by the worldly people due to their lack of understanding These BhAgawathAs’ devotion.] (KulasekharAzhwAr says " pEyarE yenaku yaavarum; yaanumOr pEyanE yevarkkum; ithu pEsiyen? " - " Everyone is crazy [after something or the other material ] for me; So am I to others; I am mad after the Lord Rangan " ; aayanE aranganE enRu azhaikkinREn; pEyanaay ozhinthEn empiraanukkE.. [PerumAL Thirumozhi 3.8] Sri Prathivaadhi Bhayankaram Annangarachar Swami while referring to the word pEy peNNae [from keechu keechu -7th verse] on Thiruppavai refers to this word pEy and Pitthar: Quoting two dhivya prabhandham passages to interpret the deep devotion of the devoted maiden (utthama adhikAri): " atthA ariyE yenRu unnai azhaikka , pitthAvenRu pEsuhinrar piRar yennai " ---Thirumangai: periya Thirumozhi:7.1.8 " Arangan adiyArkaLukkAhi AvanukkE pittharAmAvar pittharalkarhaL maRRayAr muRRum pittharE " ---KulasEkarar: PerumAL Thirumozhi--> 2.9 AzhwAr ThiruvaDigaLE saraNam Regards Namo narayana dAsan
