I am delighted to learn about the release of

Your revered Father's Doctoral Thesis in the form

of a Monograph that could be read by all instead of

being confined to the University library .

 

This is most welcome news for the serious students

of VedAntha . We all have to prostrate before Your

Father for the generous VidhyA dhAnam and Gn~Ana Bikshai

in such copious streams to us all .

 

May the Dhivya Dampathis bless Your Father with long life ,

Respected Sriman Sadagopan Swamin:

 

I am glad to inform you that the PhD thesis of father titled, 'The

Philosophy of

Sadhana in Visistadvaitha' has been re-printed as second edition. This book

will

be released by HH Sri Abhinava Vageesha Brahmatantra Swatantra Parakala

Swamy on HH's Thirunakshatram on 26th April 2006 at Mysore. This book is

in english.

 

Also, another edition of Thirumangai Alwar's works including Pariya and

Shiriya

thirumadal, thirunedundandaham, thirukkurundandaham, thiruvezukkuthirukkai

as a single book is also planned to be released on the same day. This book

is in

kannada.

 

The thesis contains all the fundamentals of Vishistadvaitha explained in

great detail

and referring many great works such as Sidhitraya, SriBhashya,

geethaBhashya, Tatvakumtakalapa, Nayasidhanjana, RahasyatrayaSaara etc. and

is an original

kind of work explaining the Visistadvaitha philosophy in a grand manner. The

significant chapters of the book are Sadhya, Sadhaka, Sadhana, Karmayoga,

Jnanayoga, Bhaktiyoga and Prapatti. There is a scholarly introduction to the

book by Prof S S Raghavachar and HH Sri Rangapriya Swamy has blessed the

work with his Anugraham.

 

The book runs to about 450+ pages and would be definitely useful to persons

interested in Ramanuja sidhanta.

 

I would request you to kindly make an announcement in the various internet

groups

about this event. Copies can be had (within India as of now) from father or

anyone

can contact me for copies. We need to see how to arrange to send copies to

US

if there are many persons interested in owning a copy of the same.
