Guest guest
SrI: Dear All : We are making progress on the SriperumbhUthUr Kaimkaryam with outstanding support by Sri Manoram Dasa and his team on ground . We are most grateful for Sri Manoram Dasa to make this happen thru detailed coordination at every level . He is a truly dedicated soul and his commitment to VaishNava Kainakryams is truly moving . The funds sent to Dasanudasa Charities from here are being used most prudently to get high quality work done with tight supervision . One of the questions has been : How does one take care of the facilities after the construction is completed . Sri Maoram Dasa has looked into this important issue and has come up with wonderful arrangements for maintenance & Supervision . It is my pleasure to share his input from Sri Manoram Dasa . Daasan , V.Sadagopan Input from Sri Manoram Dasa ****************************** Dear Sri Sudharsan Prabhu and Sri Sadagopan Prabhu, Dandavat Pranams! Prabhu, I shall arrange for video and photographs of the festival taken and sent to you. There will be no compromise on the quality of the toilets construction. Many devotees have come forward to help in this project and I shall not let them down at any point of time. Many devotees seem to be worried about the maintenance after the construction. Sri Raja Ramanuja Dasa will be taking up the complete maintenance of the toilets. He is a disciple and adherent of Ethiraaja Jeeyar Matham. He is a resident of Sriperumbuttur and a devout Vaishnava. He plans to appoint a local person to clean the toilets every day and will personally visit the toilets everyday to supervise its hygienic conditions. The temple for sure will not put in any efforts to do anything with regard to the cleanliness of the toilets and payments to be made to the cleaner routine sanitation operations. I shall make a monthly payment of Rs.1, 500/- to Sri Raja who will in turn make the payments. We will also charge the pilgrims who can afford and collect Re.1/- for usage. Pilgrims who cannot afford will use the toilets for free. Sri Raja Prabhu will be taking care of the external maintenance like building maintenance, electricity maintenance, sanitation, purchase of cleaning liquids and other accessories. I spoke to him and he is extremely happy to take this responsibility. Our devotees at Chennai have a good relationship with Ethiraja Matham and the Acharya of the mutt has a liking toward us. Whenever I am available in Chennai I shall make it a point to be in constant touch with Sri Raja about the toilet maintenance. I shall call him often every month and ensure that funds are available for the maintenance of the toilets. I am taking this, as an eternal service of maintaining toilets at Sriperumbuttur. It is my great pleasure and honor to shoulder this responsibility and consider it as wonderful service Vaishnava dasan, Manoram.
