SrImathE Gopaladesika mahadesikaya namah:

Dearest all,

Let us continue to enjoy AzhwArs wonderful verses on

ThiruvEnkatam. Today’s ThiruvEnkatam verse is:

NammAzhwAr’s Thiruvaaymozhi 9.3.8

Emperumaan, (in order to let the AzhwAr enjoy Him and

to grant AzhwAr whatever he wishes), shows His

NaaraayaNathvam to AzhwAr. AzhwAr, in this ten is

greatly elated in his narration about Sriman Narayanan

and His greatest guNAs. Let us IMMERSE OURSELVES in

the vast ocean of

Narayanan's guNAs.

inRip pOka iruvinai yumketuththu,

onRi yaakkai pukaamaiyuy yakkoLvaan,

ninRa vEngatam neeNilath thuLLadhu,

chenRu thEvargaL kaithozu vaargaLE. 9.3.8

8. Emperumaan destroys all our good and bad deeds,

with no trace of remnant even. Again, He is the One

who does NOT let our AthmA enter into another body and

start all over again and let us get out of this

vicious cycle. He shows Himself at ThiruvEnkadam so

gracefully in standing posture and blesses us. When

there is ThiruvEnkadam on this earth for us, only to

reach Him, can we leave the chance? Even Devas come

here to pay obeisance to Him. Hence, there is NO

DIFFERENCE between Parama Padham and ThiruvEnkadam…

Here at SeshAdhri , The Lord of the seven hills is

worshipped by the DevAs and Humans for the removal of

their two Vinais as VenkatanAthan and cuts the

SamsAric bond forever for those, who offer their

salutations . This SrinivAsan stands as DayA sindhu to

bless us on these holy hills .

6000 padi mentions about this decad: When the Lord had

talked about janma sambandha AzhwAr is happy while

interpreting the same.. Just one thirunamam [divine

name of the Lord] can protect the seven worlds in

thousand ways and he has thousand names.. He is

Sarvagnan; Sarva shakthan; Sarva vyApakan;

SarvEshwaran; sathya kaaman; sathya sankalpan; Parama

kaaruNyan; Sowseelyan; Sowlabhyan; and also has dhivya

mangaLa roopa; comprising sowndharyam, sougandham,

sowkumaaryam; laavaNyam etc..

When asked “there are also brahmA [four faced one] and

Rudra, devendra; how can you say Narayana is

SarvEshwara?- AzhwAr replies here: I[am blessed to

understand] that He alone [Narayanan] alone is

SarvEshwaran as per Vedas and saasthrAs; Because it is

He who creates all beings and the worlds; who protects

them; and has them retained in His stomach; He spits

them out after the mahA praLayam; He measures the

worlds; and such acts are His leelAs [though

extraordinary]. He is the indweller in all; including

BrahmA; Rudra and Devendra et al.. thus directing or

controlling them like He does to any other jeevAthman.

[sruthis say: sa brahmA; sa siva; srEndra; sOkshara;

paramaswarAt.. ]

I am blessed to learn and have this good fortune of

this knowledge that He is invincible; He is

Blemishless; [akilahEya prathyaneekan]; he has

innuermable kalyANa guNAs; He is declared as the Goal

by Vedas; by those who have earned bhakti in His Lotus

Feet. aazhwAr advises his mind not to leave the Lord

who has no equal at all; he wants to go to

paramapadham but is too far. Thus he asks his mind to

go to Venkatadri where He is standing and blessing.

AzhwAr ends the ten saying: Those recting this ten

which is an ornament for Thiru vEnkatamudaiyaan Lotus

Feet, will ascend to SrivaikuNtam.

AzhwAr ThiruvaDigaLE SaraNam

Regards

Namo Narayana

dAsan
