Dear Srimatam SishyAs & AbhimAnis:

 

adiyEn has heard from Sri Matam today that Guru PourNima

Tithi nirNayam has led to the movement forward of

the First day of ChAthurmAsyam from July 10 to July 11.

This will move all Tithis forward by one day resulting in

the ChAthurmAsya Sankalpa Poorthy on September 8

instead of September 7 as calculated earlier .

 

All of the pledge dates will now be fitted in to

the new schedule of the ChAthurmAsyam starting

on July 11 and concluding on September 8 , 2006.

 

Please rearrange your travel plans to ChAthurmAsyam

site(AadhanUr) if you are planning to attend the sankalpam

for ChAthurmAsyam .

 

For those planning on SamAsraya /BharanyAsams ,

DhwAdasi days are not recommended . SamAsrayaNa/BharanyAsams

are not performed on the DhwAdasi days at Sri Matam .

During the DhwAdasi day , you can enjoy the Thirumanjanam

for all PoorvAchArya PaadhukAs .

 

On EkAdasis( Hari Dinams ) and DhvAdasis , One can hear the auspicious

PaarAyaNam of AruNam , KaaDakam , Acchidhdram amd AsvamEdham.

These are Linked VedAntha BhAgams of the Vedams . You can enjoy

the darsana soubhAgyam of MalOlan , Dolai KaNNan and all

other Moorthys inside the Silver Mantapam enjoying the Veda

PaarAyaNam on those two special days .
