Update after on the New Kaimkaryam planned at Oppiliappan Sannidhi

Dear Bhumi Devi SamEtha Sri Oppiliappan BhakthAs:

 

Yesterday , a modest Kaimkaryam for

the Dhivya Dampathis was announced .

It proposed to realize the SamarpaNams of

New AabharaNams for daily usage by Bhattars for

alankAram .

 

The AabharaNams to be created are

three Kempu Pathakkams ( 50,000 Rs Each)

and two CheNpaka Maalais ( Copper base and

Gold Plating ( Rs.12,000 ) . The total coast was

Rs.1,62,000 0r 1.62 laks ( ~ $ 3,700).

 

within 24 hours of the announcement of this Kaimkaryam

and inviting BhakthAs of Sri Oppiliappan to participate ,

17 BhakthAs have pledged $12,289 ( 332 % more than

the target figure of the modest plan ).

 

The individual SamarpaNams in the past 24 hours

have ranged from Rs.500 to $8,700 . The average

samarpaNam as per appeal is $100 per participant .

In between there are 300$ to 500$ samarpaNams by

individual Families .

 

It appears that , it is Bhagavaan's ThiruvuLLam

that the Gold Plated Copper CheNpaka Maalais

shoud be replaced with 100% GOLD MAALAIS

as is the practise at His younger Brother's

dhivya dEsam on top of the seven Hills,

where all AabharaNams have to be made

in GOLD.

 

The total cost for the two Gold CheNpaka Maalais

and 10 Kempu Pathakkams of different sizes for

the Dhivya Dampathis would now be 6.1 Laks of Rupees

or $13,863 ( at the rate of 44 Rs.to the Dollar) .

 

We have pledges from 17 BhakthAs upto 540, 732 Rupees

or $12,289 so far . We need additional 69256 Rs

or $1574 more to reach the goals of the modified plan ,

where gold will replace gold plating .

 

May I request additional BhakthAs to donate as much

as they can to fill this gap of $1574 ? It can be any amount

(Yathaa Sakthi) .With that support , we can offer at

the sacred feet of the Lord new AabharaNams for

daily use by Bhattars and for Uthsavams for a long ,

long time to come . This will be a life time kaimkaryam

for us.
