Dear Sri VenkatEsa BhakthAs :

 

Back in February , 2006 , the Sundara Simham team

was racing against time to complete the e-book on

DAYAA SATHAKAM by Swamy Desikan , an extraordinary

anubhavam of Swamy Desikan , the GantAvathArar ,

to eulogize the Dayaa GuNam of Lord of the Seven Hills .

 

We wanted to place this e-book at the hands of

Srimath Azhagiya Singar , when He was visiting Thirunala

for the Maasi Maasa MangaLAsAsanam on His Janma

Nakshathram day in April ,2006 . We could just about finish

half of the 108 slOkams at that time and presented it to

Srimath Azhagiya Singar , as the current PeetAthipathi of

Sri Matam founded by Adhi VaNN SaThakOpa Jeeyar , who

lived for many years at Thirumala and built the steps to climb

the seven hills to reach the Lord's AasthAnam. Here , Adhi VaNN

SaThakOpa Jeeyar trained AnnamAchAryaa in Ubhaya VedAntham.

For all these reasons , we were quite eager to meet the deadline

and present this e-book in its half-completed stage.

 

Prakrutham Srimath Azhagiya Singar was very pleased to recieve the e-book

on Dayaa Sathakam in that stage of readiness and blessed us to complete it .

 

The Sundara simham team is delighted to present today the FULL VERSION OF

DAYAA SATHAKAM (185 plus pages and 100 plus most beautiful Images of

the Lord of Thirumalaa in all His alankArams ).

 

The cover drawn by Srimathy Chitralekha Ranganathan is a fantastic capture of

the dear consort of the Lord , Sri Dayaa Devi in Her most compassionate mood.

The 100 plus pictures were meticulously assembled by Sri Mukund Srinivasan .

 

AdiyEn had the bhAgyam to write short meanings and the commentaries for

these matchless slOkams . All of this was pulled together by Srimathy Kala

LakshminArAyaNan as an e-book that is being presented to You

today in its complete form .
