Acharya Sambavanai for H.H. Srimad Andavan Poundarikapuram Swami Ashramam

Dear Sishyas and Abhimanis of

Srimad Andavan, Poundarikapuram Swami Ashramam:

 

You would have seen the Report on the Tirunakshatra Mahotsavam of Swami

Desikan held at Buffalo, New York on 29th September 2001.

 

During the celebrations, a grand Paduka Aradhanam was also performed for the

Padukas of Acharyas including those of Prakritam H.H Srimad Gopala Desika

Maha Desikan, Present Pontiff of Sri Poundarikapuram Andavan Swami Ashramam

which Swami blessed me with and which I had the bhaghyam of bringing to the

venue for the purpose.

 

As part of the Paduka Aradhanam, an Acharya Sambavanai was proposed and some

of those who attended offered their contributions. Others could not make it

to the function for several reasons including personal and the fear

generated by the recent terrorist attacks in USA.

 

I am collecting the contributions and propose to send a consolidated amount

to the Ashramam.

 

Those who attended but could not offer their contributions and those who

though could not attend ( being in and around USA) but would like to make

their contributions are requested to draw their checks favoring -

" Srikaryam,Srimad Andavan, Sri Poundarikapuram Swami Ashramam, Srirangam "

and send them to my address:

" Anbil Ramaswamy, 1638, Omara Lane, Smyrna, GA - 30082 "

Please also keep me informed through email, the fact of your mailing, so

that I can keep track of receipt here and issue a preliminary

acknowledgement. I will also arrange to secure the receipts from the

Ashramam and send you as soon as received from the Ashramam.

 

Those outside USA (e.g) Singapore may kindly draw similar checks but send

them to Sri Madhava Kannan for onward transmission to the Ashramam and keep

the undersigned informed of the contributions so made.
