Guest guest
Conflict of Interest GaruDA saukyamA? Conflict of interest will result in loss of independence and mis-carriage of justice. Management principles preach structures of orgnaisation which should not result in conflict of interest. We as auditors should not owe anything to our clients lest conflict of interest will occur and may result in partisan decisions. sumukan who was a serpant was determined by sri GaruDA to be devoured. At the behest of Lord DevEndrA granted sumukan a long life the result of whihc made GarudA to argue againts the Lord Himself. That Lord made GarudA realise his strength, is a different matter. Now, GAruDa is a close attendant of the Lord. He has been so close and of the inner coterie. GarudA's influence over the Almighty must be multi-fold. That is why thirumangai AzhwAr terms him as "nenjil koNDa nin anjiRaip paRavai" Sri sumukan has surrendered to the Lord. Therefore he has to be rescued. The Lord at this point had conflict of interest snowballing into a big threat. At one side He had his inner circle attendant wanting to devour one who had surrendered to Him. The Almighty tactfully delegated the responsibilty of safeguarding sumukhan to GArudA himslef which left to the famous and oft quoted term "GaruDa saukyamA?" Sri thirumangai AzhwAr describes this event in "nanju sOrvadhOar venjina aravam, veruvi vandhu nin saraNena charaNA, nenjil koNda nin anjiRaip paRavaikku adaikkalam koduthu aruL seidhadhu aRindhu.." 5-8-4; garuDa saukyamA? dAsan vanamamalai padmanabhan
