The thiru-mozhi "yEAzhai yEAdhalan'5-8; is another outstanding emotional outpour from sri thirumangai AzhwAr. The wonderful auspicious qualities of sriman nArAyaNA is brought forth in a clear manner. The saulabyam, saushElyam and the like attributes are highlighted. The relationship with sri guhap-perumAn, thiruvaDi, the rescue of sri gajEndrAzhwAn ,sumukan, The retrival of child/children of sages and the great act of sri thiru-vENkatamudaiyAn delivering sermon to thoNDai mannavan are all excellently narrated in this thiru-mozhi. Owing to unqenchable thirst for the Lord, thirumangai mannan surrenders at the feet of Lord repeatedly. Here, he does this at the feet of periya-perumAL. Though all the above events do not relate to periya-perumAL, the fact that sriman nArAyaNA has granted their desires-even desires other than Him-why should be AzhwAr denied this, when he in fact desires the Lord and at His service. The finer aspects of the qualities are underlined in each of the pAsuram-s, some of which we shall enjoy hereinafter. dAsan vanamamalai padmanabhan
