This is due to belief that yellow represents goddess Lakshmi and it shall always accompanied with Perumal in the form of Thiruman. IU have heard from elders that while using red srichoornam, you can use it alone whereas while using yellow srichoornam it shall always be accompanied with thriuman. sudhakar.pr ***** ????
