[Vaideekam] Reminder - Panguni Uthram

Yes, Panguni Uttaram is very important in Sri Rangam, It is the day when Ramanujar had the divine experience of performing saranagati at the lord feet through Thayar.

 

It is the day when Ramanujar composed and sang the saranagathi gadyam before the divya dampathi's and gave us the most precious gem called saranagathi gadyam , which is one of the most revered and sacred gadyam that is to be recited every day.

 

In this ramanujar not only says to sri ranganathar that u are my swamin but also says u are the swamin of all of us , indirectly he is pleading to the lord to give saranagathi to all of us.

 

So let us all recite saragathi gadyam on this day before the divya dampathi and surrender unto the supreme of the supreme.
