Guest guest
Respected Swamin, YOu have rightly 'clarified' the concept of 'questioning'. I think, first of all, persons who do not have belief on 'sampradayam' would not have enrolled himself as a member of this group. Beyond that, seeking certain clarifications and what appears in our mind, is absolutely not wrong, I feel. It should be on 'kutharkkam' - not with any ulterior motive or intention. In today's context, once again, as rightly pointed out in the earlier message, there are only very few 'swamis' who are able to quote with 'proof/authentication' the reasons for our practice, etc. By anyone asking a doubt/clarificatiion, if people are to construe it as 'disbelief', then the detailed clarification as given by you with explanations would not reach many people. I do not understand the word 'questioning' in this context. Is it like 'questioning authority of someone in an official capacity. ONce a person has adopted 'prapathi - saranagati- then he is expected to follow the regulation of 'expecting' anything else from 'Bhagawan'. But, in our practical life, how far these very vital but minute 'concepts' have reached even among the 'vaishnavites' who have had 'samasrayanam'. Anyhow, the debate or discussion can go on as it will be endless. My humble and strong feeling is that, anyone seeking clarification or raising a doubt should not be 'branded' as one who is not having belief. If my submissions are hurting anyone, kindly pardon me. With pranams, Adiyen, Nandakumar. Have good luck Nandakumar, C.R.
