Guest guest Posted June 1, 2005 Report Share Posted June 1, 2005 Namaskarams, Recently , I was speaking with one of my elder in the family and he was telling me that if we calculate the distance according to the flight time taken by Hanuman to reach lanka, then it can be concluded that Srilanka what we find today is not what was mentioned in Ramayana and he also told me that the actual lanka which ramayana speaks about comes somewhere near maildives . Can the learned scholars ofthis group throw some light on this topic.
