Guest guest
Dear Mama, I was delighted to read your explanations in this digest. It educates people also. One clarification I need. Should we do Kamokarsheeth Japam with old poonal and then change the poonal before Kandarishi tharpanam OR first change the poonal after usual sandhyavandanam and then do Japam and then Tharpanam. I had noticed differences in practices among different people. With kind regards, Padmanabhan ***Mdr*** Thank you for your response: The answer for your question is very simple and which is the reason for the difference in practice : If you have two sets of yagnopaveetham change one before Kamokaarsheeth otherwise no other go. Actually if there is no theetu ((kuzhi) tharpanam or Savath theetu, Smasana(burriel ground) theetu) kalappu after the latest (recently changed) yagnopaveetham you can do the kamokaarsheeth without changing it. If any theetu kalappu was there in that period it is must to change it(poonal) before doing it(japam). I hope the given clarification is enough?! I am moving from Ashok nagar to West Mambalam again from 1st August. Later I will tell you the new address. My best wishes to all your children and my kind enquires to Sugandha mamai. Best regards, Deevalur N.V.Srinivasa Dasan ***Mdr***
