Respected swamin,

 

Though I have downloaded all the fonts from Ahobilam.com earlier, in the Mail

client - outlook express

suntommy font does not get automatically inserted to open the sandhyavandanam

document.

 

However, I could copy the same and pasted it in Winword to open it. Pl guide me

what I have to

do to get suntommy font in mail client so that directly I can read the msg in

tamil.

Note:- What you did which is your operating system details required to suggest

more.

If your system is windows any version, the operating system will be installed

in the c:\windows folder. System using fonts folder will be c:\windows\fonts

So, you have to unzip the tmlfonts.zip (which you have downloaded from our site)

to somewhere mydocuments. Then you have to copy all the fonts from there and

paste it in the c:\windows\fonts folder.

It is better restart your system once.

Now you have to open the email (outlook express) and copy the tamil message and

open winword and paste it their. It will not open the font automatically,

because the default font will be an English font.

So after pasting the text in the winword, you have to select all the text by

clicking the edit menu, then select all, now you have to go to the format menu

and select the font tab, it will list many fonts, press the letter 'S' in the

key board, the list will go to the fonts name starting in the letter S . Use the

down key to move down in that list, if you have correctly installed the tamil

fonts, you will see the name " Suntommy " either in English or in Tamil, you

select the text shown in tamil, click oK. Now all the text in the body of

winword will be converted to Tamil.
