Dear Moderator,

Namaskarams,

I am staying in the Gulf ( Arabian Gulf ) and I normally follow the rahu-kalam

or other timings as if I were in India. Is this correct or I should add the two

and half hours time difference and arrive at the rahu-kalam timing ? Please

clarify.

Shri Srinivasan from US had asked for timing as per US. I am told that there is

a Panchangam

being prepared in the US as per their timings. Is it correct...would you know ?

I wish there was a " Kutti Shastri " available in each country to sort out this

problem !!

I just now managed to install the tamil fonts and take a print out of the

meaning of Sudarshnatakam. I read the sloka daily but I was interested in

knowing the meaning. You have give an opportunity for me to know it now. Thank

you for the good work done.

Thank you very much for the thoughtful Bhajagovindam with short meaning. Please

convey my special thanks to your daughter Sow. Nithya for her patience in typing

out the message.

***Dear Vasudevan Sir,

Thanks and welcome for all your good comments.

Really I am having confusion with the time conversion to India and other places,

because I have not tried much about it. But onething I know, you should adopt

the Rahu/Kuligai/Yemakanda Kaalams according to the place where you are

reciding.

There is no need to convert anything for the Rahu,Yemakanda Kalam, Just you

should know about the sunrise of that place.

For example :

If you are living in Newyark and the sunrise (which will differ month to month),

be 6.35 am in (Jan - 1 - Monday) then the Rahu Kalam for that at Newyark is :

8.05 am to 9.35 am

I will never use the articles and programs published in the websites. If

anything refered by members also will be checked thouroughly before giving it to

other members. The permissions by the author to redistribute through groups also

to be checked.

Best regards,
