Guest guest Posted August 12, 2005 Report Share Posted August 12, 2005 Dear Vasu mama' I know this gentleman he has his house in Srirangam and as for my knowledge goes does his daily rituals (including reciting of vedams) . I also understand that his wife is from USA and they became Vaisnavite and practicing in toto. I use to see them in our traditional dress (madisar and panchakachan) and they spent nearly 6 months in srirangam to have darshan of lord Ranganatha. The lady works in USA taking care of spastic child. If I am referring to same man (as the details given by you matches), then considering his sincerity definitely he can be included in Vaideegam group. Though I am from Chennai, I use visit srirangam due to my preethi on lord Ranganatha. I use to see them in festival. Tamil fonts are there in the PC, but when messages are read, they are not in tamil. ***Adiyen, Dear Sir, thanks, one thing you have to check first, after putting the fonts in your pc, you should check it in the ms word, by opening new document, and select the format menu, and then font menu, it will list all the fonts available in the system, you just press the letter 's' to move down to go to the first font available in that 's' albhapet, then press down the down arrow key, if installed, the " Sun Tommy " font will be shown in that list, that will be displayed in Tamil letters I think, as per the typewritter key map, the displayed text will be " La ra a va zha a a la " in tamil. Select that font and type somthing in the body of the document, or type these " =kNj uhkhE[ha ek: " which will come like " Sri madhe Ramanujaya Namaha " if it is OK then it shows you have successfully installed But this time I had sent only pdf file not in tamil font, this is the problem with system, it should not store the attachments, once any member missed to save the attachment, it will not be available. The members may suggest, why don't you store the file in the files area? Ans: The Group is a FREE service, they are allowing to store anything upto 20MB, if we start storing all attachments, there will be no space for the important documents which should be permenently there in the files section? Also for an individual, it is one time problem to activate a font in their system, by which they can reduce the daily problem of a moderator of the group..
