Guest guest
Dear mama, As you have said, we can meet after avani avittam. But I will be out of town between 20/8/05 afternoon, after gayathri japam and 24/8/05 night. We can meet any day from 25/8/05 onwards. Sath Samrakshana is your brain child and I think you should continue your active association with it as part of your very many schedules which I know too well. I can give a few hours of my time every week without problem, but as you know, I am also a sort of semi retired person and not enjoying all that sound health and therefore I cannot saddle on myself responsibility of running any office including the SS. You know as Advocate I have withdrawn from court appearances for the last few years but some old clients keep consulting me and this I do without any formal office or juniors to assist as was the case before. Anyone can visit me on SS matters and I can guide them suitably but taking responsibility is a different thing and I am not equipped for that just now. Any member of in whom you have the utmost confidence can take full responsibility of running a skeleton office for SS and attend to all procedural and administrative matters connected with that if SS is going to re-activated. You and I will always be in the picture and we can even attend meetings when convened and offer our advice and provide guidance to them. There must be at least two or three members willing to devote their time to the organisational affairs of SS when it is re-activated. If there is any problem in immediately re-activating SS with the above suggestions, members of the group interested in donating to SS may instead donate to Vaishnava Kendram which can do whatever is supposed to be done by SS. In VK, I know, the organisational and admistrative procedures do not pose a problem. Kindly therefore take a decision on this in the interest of the beneficiaries whom we both want to serve with donars coming forward to donate for good causes. We will only be a bridge and be motivating and inspiring people behind that good movement. With kind regards, Padmanabhan T V Padmanabhan Advocate A-20 Arcot Terrace 160 Arcot Road, Vadapalani Chennai 600 026, India Tel: 91-44-23650911; 98400 52787 ***Adiyen, I agree with all your points and proposals. So, I think that we can wait for some more time. My two sons will come to take the charges of the family, then I will be free from family duties. Also, I think that we can selct some executives from the students who are studying with me in MA vaishnavism after checking their involvement in active participation of our SS works. So, we can wait for that, but, I don't know how to complete the accounts and what should be done for maintaining the Registration etc. Or is there any clause that there should be some minimum activities in a year etc. For that we will meet after 25/08/20005 and finalise those maters. The word you used " brain child " touched and melted my heart. But, a person who is not capable to feed his child should be ready to donate it to some wealthy person for the sake of the child's aliveness. thanks for your kind co-operation.
