It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will culminate on August 26 when Mars comes to within 35 million miles of earth. Be sure to watch the sky on August 26, 1:00pm [acc. to UAE Time]. It will look like the Earth has two moons. The next time Mars will be this close is in 2287.
