Guest guest
Dear Moderator, Namaskaram I am travelling this Friday when I will have to spend about 17 hours on the flight. Can I do the maanaseeka - sandhyavandanam on the flight ? Also, I will be passing several time zones. Which timing do I follow ? Do I follow the time at the spot where I am as per the timing shown on the screen in the air-craft ? Please clarify. Dasan K. Vasudevan ***Adiyen, Regarding Sandhya Vandhanam, the continuity will not be broken is the main point when he is not in station. When he is in station the time point takes the importancy. Simply, Sastram expects one should not fail to do the karma as instructed by the sastram when he is able to do it as instructed. You can ask. How sastram will know about my ability and inabilty. Here comes the role of 'Antharyami'. You can not leave your 'Antharyami' for even a fraction of a second. So, the 'Antharyami' writes your dharma adharma account conciously even you are in unconcious state. *Keeping the present country time only will be applicable for all rituals.
