Guest guest Posted September 17, 2005 Report Share Posted September 17, 2005 SrI: Dear Sriman Krishnaswamy : Turmeric is dried under the Sun , crushed to form the powder , filtered to remove stems etc and blended with lime (Burnt kiLinchal), wetted , stirred and dried for use . I have never made it for personal usage but I have seen it being made . You have to experiment in small bayches to get the right mix of lime and turmeric powder .
