Dear Asthikas

This is the second set of loudthinking

 

1.Sattva---------goodness,the quqlity of goodness

2.Rajas---------the quality of passion

3.Tamas---------the quality of darkness

4.Avyakta------state of primordial nature that

immediately procceds the evolution of various

constituent elements or Tattvas of the Universe

5.Tattvas---(descending order)

Pradhana or Prakriti-----nature

2. Mahat or Buddhi---the great principle

3. Ahankara----egoity

The notion of egoity is held to be due to the

association of this intelligent principle with

Prakriti. Primordial Prakriti is held to give rise to

Mahat(great principle) called Buddhi perhaps for the

reason that the cognisability of the external world by

the Purusha is due to it. Out of Mahat is evolved the

principle known as Ahankara, which is a kind of

" mind-stuff " responsible for sense of egoity and for

the production of senses and the mind

The Tanmatras or the subtle and

rudimentary elements characterised by

4.Sabda--sound

5.Sparsa--touch

6.Rupa--form of colour

7. Rasa--taste

8. Gandha--smell

The grosser elements corresponding to

these Tanmatras are

9.Akasa---ether

10. Vayu---air

11.Tejas--light or heat

12. Ap----water

13.Prithivi----earth

14. the Mind---the senses

15.Srotra---hearing

16.Tvak---touch

17.Chakshus---sight

18. Rasa---taste

19.Gandha--smell

And the organs of

20.Speaking

21. Working

22.Walking

And the organs connected with

23.defeaecation

24. reproduction

The 25 th element is the individual soul, which is

beyond the Prakriti, in the ascending order

The Vedantins add the Mahapurusha as 26th tattva

above and beyond the individual soul

6.Prakriti or nature--four different nature

Avibhakta-tamas-primary undifferentiate state

Vibhakta-tamas--first differentiated state

Akshara--even the qualities of sattva, rajas, and

tamas are not seen to be differentiated and inwhich it

is also said to be promiscuously mixed up with the

individual self

Avyakta last state inwhich the differentiation of the

three gunas has begun to take place. From this Avyakta

proceeds the principle known as Mahat and from this

the principle called Ahankara or egoity and so on

 

The lights are Sri Hayagreevan

The worlds are Sri Hayagreevan

The forests are Sri Hayagreevan

THe mountains, the regions of space, the rivers

and the seas, all that is existent and all that is

non-existent are all Sri Hayagreevan( tb be contd)

I prostrate before Sri Hayagreeva several

innumerable times to bless and to get the Mahamandap

completed soon .

Hayagreevan to the Hills , have darshan, get theertham

, Sri satari and prasadam and also accompany Swami

Desikan to various Sannithis during mangalasasanam and

have Paripoorna Anugraha
