Guest guest Posted September 27, 2005 Report Share Posted September 27, 2005 Dear members.. I have one feeling about the beliefs and disbeliefs of our customs , vaideekams or sambradayams. We always try to get convinsed for matching traditions and sastras , with our current knowledge, try to proove scientifically and when it does not match with our current source of aquired knowledge, we start suspecting or do not follow anything. With our socalled scientific developments and changes , we have not improved our culture. Honesty has come down. One is not sincere to wife/husband viseversa etc. On an average, poor-quality of public life , liquor etc, all have increaed. People who followed traditions and innocent life had honest and good life period , had mutual help, concern faith , etc than now who are in new era. Traditions ,practices and sastras as beeing followed by our elders, we can follow without questioning to the extent possible. As the days go and we grow , we will be able to sence the benefits than trying to proove them as a lab test. It need not satisfy by meaning and scince. Above are totally my opinions and not for debate.
