Brahma Yagnam contains Deva,Rishi, Pithru tharpanam(sankalpam also says deva rishi pithru tharpanam karishye). In this Pithru tharpanam is there, if we do this, do we need to fast on that day (if we do daily as nithyakarma, then all the days!). > > >>>> Kanda rishi is also there, Similarly Daily if we bathe three times every we do snAnAnga tharpanam there also all those pitru tharpanams arise. Guest guest
Bruhaspathi Swamin I am under the impression any vaideeka karma is to be performed only after pratah sandya and madhyahnikam and bhruma yangyam. Is it correct. Dasan VSR *** Correct. The Anushtana list is not ends with Brahma yagyam. Brahama yagyam is not only a nithya karma and it is a good practice but fortunately or unfortunately it is not in practice. nvs

Guest guest
srI: sri NVS swamin, dasoham. Currently because of loukika life, a number of people preoccupied and hence could not find time to do veda adyayanam, after upanayanam. Can we say that performing brahma yagnam is a means of chanting vedam? Does it fulfill the requirement for being a brahmin besides doing sandhyavandam? dasan. *** Brahma Yagyam is a very simple karma and very easy to do. But increasing the volume of karma one by one will create bitterness among people. The questions should not have an intention to insist on others anything by force. The intention to increase anushtanams one by one is appreciable. The interested persons can ask for the procedures to do the next step for themselves. We are still in the state of rescue operation by insisting brahmin people to do Sandhya Vandhanam which is the basic and essential step. nvs
