We are doing Chradham in all subhams in the name of " Naandhi " to satisfy the either side of the pithrus. Just by a Punyahavachanam we are getting suddhi to do the further subha kaaryams. If it is like this, why we have to leave the chradham? Smaardhas are doing the " Naandhi " chradham as same as chradham by supplying food and all in the Kalyana Mandapam itself but in the previous day. Some Vaishnavas will do the chradham outside the house if it comes within a week time after marriage. > Nitchayadhartham is not a barrier to leave chradham. Guest guest
My humble view on performing annual Shrardam My father attained Acharyan thiruvadi .. his Monthly masyam happened to fell on the day of " Maappillai Azhaippu " of my sister.. we preformed maasya Shradam on that day.... and proceeded with the wedding. Likewise, we performed the grahapravesam for our new house and immediately next week, we performed the Annual Shradam for our father in the new house itself as it is good to invite our Pithrus to the new house and seek their blessings. We all are living happily with his blessings. There is no harm in performing Shradam even if it fall on the day of marriage.. it should be given importance .... as kanyadanam can be performed by any one....as shradam is to be performed by the Karta alone that too on the thidhi only.. Shradam shall not be jumped for any reason... and by doing shradam in fact the ill effects will be removed.. with the blessings of pithrus. adiyen dasan ***well said.*** vaideekam , kvrajan rajan <kvrajan115> wrote: > > Dear Madhavan, > > Iam not as aged and proficient as Vasu Vadhyar..but all I can say is ( i dont have parents) ...dont skip sharardham.... > > dont worry..the more the people you speak ...the more confused you will be...your elder people wishes will always be there for you and for your daughter... > > after u are doing it for your parents... > > Wish and pray Balaji for all good things to happen in your life and good luck for your daugther's wedding... > > god bless > > rajan > > G Madhavan <g_madhvan> wrote: > Respected Vasu Vadhyar > > I am finalising my daughter's wedding and nischayathartham will be in Aippasy month. Some people say that I must not do any shraddha etc after this till the wedding.I have a guilt feeling if I omit to do shraddha for my father which falls due in Markazhi. > > Is there any bar to perform Shraddha in the period between nischayathartham and wedding?Pl guide me > > Adiyen Madhavan > > > *** As per my little knowledge there is no condition to leave Chradham on any circumstance.
