Why there are different Acharyans? Dasan Srinivasan ***Up to the period of Srimadh Ramanujar, there was only one Shishya (among the shisyas of that Guru) was selected to become next Guru. (Which is called Oraan vazhi). Sri Ramanujar had broken that rule with great mercy on us to post 74 Simhasanathipathi to give upadesam for many shishyas. Because there are many persons are waiting and willing to get shamashrayanam from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. How only one Acharyan can do it? Now itself the Shamshraynams are done in huge scale for a group of people which is not perfect. Because when doing samskaram the acharyan should completly test and know about the new shishyan and he should give brief meaning for all the Rahasya thrayam and then he should teach the Thiruvaaradhanam etc. Is it possible to do all those things with one Acharyan?
