Guest guest
REspected mama, My Grand father's brother's son passed away recently. We are in the third genaration if I assume my grand father as the first generation, my father as the second generation and myself in the third. My grand father and my father is no more. Is there any restrictions on perfoming festivals poojas and going to temples. Please enlighten me. With regards S.GOPAL ***As per your step by step genration explanation, the previous seventh generation grand father is called as " Kootasthar " . The theetu is same (10 days) for all the persons who are being on or in between the generation of upto the 'kootasthar'. Celebrating the festival after the 10th day ceremony is not restricted by " Sastram " but it is in custom. VAsu VAdhyAr
