I seem to remember that some " real " ones can be gotten at the Kadhi shop at one end (not the thousand lights end the other end) of Mount Rd. However they are also available at Giri Trading company in front of Kapilesvara Devastanam in Mylapore. Normally of course it is better to receive a salagrama than buy one. If you really don't want to buy one you have to go to Nepal (Gandaki nadi) and there you can get them easily.
