There have been a number of mails on SaaLagrAma AarAdhanam ,

avilabilty and acquisition thru the time honored method of dhAnam

of SaLigrAma Moorthys .

 

A fellow Sri Matam Sishyar whose opinions adiyEn values sent me

the following note , which will be of interest to you all .

 

DhAnam can take place thru additional routes .

 

AdiyEn has the bhAgyam of performing AarAdhanam for 12

SaaLagrAma Moorthams at adiyEn's house .

 

Please approach devotees , where the AarAdhanam has been discontinued

for lack of knowledgable elders or request those who are travelling to

NepAl or Your AchAryan for help .

" Salagrama Dhanam is part and parcel of important Apara kainkaryam. We

even search for those who will perform Nityaaradhana to receive Dhanam.

In salagrama dhana the recipient need not even take bath as in other

dhana. All that he has to do is to perform aradhana immediately and

there upon every day. (The Pradhata also has to perform aradhana before

the dhana.) There can be many instances in the same dhana.

 

Hence, there should be a system/organization through which people can

register for getting Salagrama Dhanam and the Pradhata can choose. "
