Some vadhyars say vayasa pindam not necessary being daily shradham. sakrudh sotha kumba shradham every month have we to give silver tumbler monthly since same swamy is coming for all sothakumba shradhams. What are all not to be done insteda of parvana shradham. *** There is no need for a separate book for sodhakumba chradham, if one had undergone practice with a Guru, Bruhaspathi. Already I had replied for a question about Hiranya chradham, there I mentioned a chradham without 'Vaayasa pindam' is not a complete one. So, for sodhakumba chradham the following steps are main. You can utilize the manthrams for the steps from the file yajur-chradham2.pdf which I just uploaded to our files section on behalf of your request (which you may have receicved a notification meanwhile). Important:- A paasword is required to open that pdf file, interested members are requested to send a request to vaideekam for password, this is to avoid unnecessary circulation of that file. Member of our vaideekam group only will be allowed open it. 1. Anungai 2. Sankalpam 2a. Sathvika thyagam 3. Varanam 4. Paathyam 5. Sthalaprokshanam 6. Alangaram 7. Bojana Sthanam 8. Bojana thatham 9. Sodhakumba dhanam : " Mama pithruloga vaasajanitha dhaaha saanthyartham ayam udhakumba: " a tumler of water should be given with few yell in that water in a container made out of any cheap material even it may be a 'Kottankichi' or even a 'Dhonnai' in every sodhakumba chradham. Because sodhakumbam means Udhakumba sahitha chradham is called 'Sodhakumbam'. Udhakumbam means : udhakam --- dheertham kumbam means container. 17. yadhokthanugraham 18. Pathrasaahaathi (Except Uthriyam) 18a. Sathvikathyagam 19. Kaayenavaacha 20. pavithra visarchanam, aachamanam. *** More over I do not like the typical saying " Some vadhyars says etc. ... " . Have complete confident on your family bruhaspathi. If you have still doubt on a matter, tell him directly, and ask him to bring the 'Pramaanam'. If he is not able to bring the pramanam, then ask him to guide you a person who may be having the pramanam and go there and get clarified. Do not put complaints on bruhaspathis here after. First of all select a Qualified Bruhaspathi for your family. If you feel the present bruhaspathy of your family is not that much qualified, no need to change him. Do not ask any doubts to him. Atleast find a qualifed person to Clarify your doubts as a consultant bruhaspathi. If anybody having confident on me can get clarification at anytime regarding vaideekam. I do not have any mobile which I hate.
