Guest guest
To add to what Vasu vaadyaar has written, every Veda Shaakha comes with it's own way Chandas (Which is one of the vedaanga). The chandas describes the method of recitation for that particular shaakha. This is the distinguishing mark. Why is that so?...Why not same chandas for all shakhaas... This is like asking why not use the same formula for all calculations. We can not because everything has a purpose and objective to fulfil. That may be the reason for difference.
