Report on Progress with SriperumbhUthUr Sanitary Facilities Construction Kaimkaryam

and observers of Vaidheeka anushtAnams (SamskArAs) :

 

adiyEn is pleased to let you know that we have arrived

at the First Lak of Rupees stage against the needed funds of

3.5 Laks for the complete construction of the sanitary faciliites

for the Worshippers at Bhagavath RaamAnuja's avathAra

Sthalam , SriperunhUthUr.

 

May 2 , 2006 is the avathAra dinam , when more than 75,000 plus

devotees assemble there to offer their worship and enjoy the final

day of of the ten day Uthsavam . That is nine days away .

 

We urgently need the rest of the funds ( Rs. 2 Laks ) to

mkae additional progress with the ongoing Kaimkaryam .

 

Here are the construction developments at SriperumbhUthUr :

 

1. Well boring work will be starting tomorrow on the site given to us

by the temple authorities .

 

2. An experienced team of volunteers headed by Manoram Dasa

is helping to construct and supervise the construction and

protect the assembled funds from falling into the hands of

the ever present corrupt officaldom ( local and far ).

 

3. The masons and skilled workers from SriperumbhUdhUr

and neighboring villages are lending their skills gratis .

This saves all of us additional expenses .

 

4. Plans are underway to protect the facilities from abuse

and decay in future thru local oversight personnel and

timely maintenance schemes so that the investments

can last out and help the pilgrims beyond this year's

major uthsavam .

 

As Bhagavath RaamAnuja BhakthAs , it is incumbent on us

to maintain the hygenic conditions on important kshEthrams

with heavy duty traffic like SriperumbhUthUr and help

the devotees from everywhere ( Children , Women and

older people particularly ) to feel comfortable during

their visits and not panic about the availability of

public sanitary facilities and wash their feet before

they enter the temple .

 

Two dozen RaamAnuja BhakthAs from USA , Kuwait ,

Australia , India , Singapore have sent in 1 Laks of

Rupees sofar . It is all of our fond hope that the remaining

funds can be raised with help from the AchArya RaamAnuja

devotees from Middle East ( Bahrain , Oman , Qtar and

Saudi Arabia) , Asia-Pacific ( Australia , Singapore , Indonesia) ,

Europe , India and wherever the RaamAnuja BhakthAs are .

 

The VaishNava Lists of Sri Ranga Sri , Oppiliappan ,

SaraNAgathy , Thiruvenkatam , Ramanuja.org , Vedic Talk ,

Jetusa , Parakala Matam , Poundarikapuram Andavan

Aaasramam , Srirangam PeriyANdavan Aaasram, ISKCON ,

Desika SampradhAya and Sri Ahobila Matam related sites

have more than 10,000 active Members , who follow the Bhagavath

RaamAnuja Darsanam and its branches ( Vada Kalai , TennAchArya,

SvayamAchArya, Goudiya , Pushti Maarg et al) and want to know

more about the Vaidheeka Maargam , Aagamams and

anushtAnams rooted in the eternal Vedaas . Even a small

portion of the total Membership can quickly help

with the assembly of the remaining funds to conclude

this modest Kaimkaryam to Bhagavath RaamAnujA's
