Guest guest
VaAsu Mama, Many thanks for the dharma sastram (chrardham related portion) text. It is really a good eye opener for me. Eventhough, the dharma sastram book is the final and ultimate, I just have the following question which is practised in some houses including mine.. 1. Use of Lemon, pudalangai (book says not advisable). ***Some people are using*** 2. Parannam -> does this means. food taken outside (other than the one mentioned in the houses where we can take?) - like hotel food, marriage food etc.. ***Should be avoided*** 3. Vilambazham also not to be used?.. ***Many people are using *** If the above are used, is it by family tradition.. While I will be informing this to all my family members so that we can get changed..wanted to know your thoughts. ***Do not discuss your family traditional vishayams with others, but you are having all rights to continue it, but should not add any new custom of your own to it.*** 4. In line 45, it says. apasavyam.. What the meaning of this? ***Apasavyam means " Praacheena Veedhi " ... opposite position of Poonal*** Thankyou very much once again for the very useful information. Adiyen, Muralidharan *** I hope the given explanation is enough. I am very glad to know about your attention throughout the pages uploaded. nvs
